Sea Cloud
Sailing Cruise Ship Sea Cloud
She has a length of 109 meters and 15 meters beam and she is operated by Sea Cloud Cruises of Hamburg, Germany.
I got these photos this morning and even the visibility is poor to moderate due to the fog. I was able to capture this pretty and historical sailing cruise ship.
A simple tweak of this lovely sailing cruise ship Sea Cloud.

Motor Yacht Slipstream
Motor Yacht Slipstream has a lenght of 60 meters and beam of 10 meters. She is built by CMN Yachts, Shipyard in France.
She can carry a maximum of 12 passengers and 14 crew.
This season there are different large, superyachts here visiting in the bay and Slipstream is one of them. I just love taking photos of this beautiful cruise ships, motor yachts and sailing yachts. I am lucky, if I can go on board in any of them, someday. Just hoping and dreaming.

Nikon COOLPIX P300 Key features:
1. 12 megapixel BSI (back side illuminated) CMOS sensor (1/2.3in)
2. ISO 100-3200 at full 12MP resolution
3. 1080p High Definition video mode

7. Built-in stereo microphone
Just got hold the Nikon coolpix P300 and I test immediately its automatic settings.
Although, it's my first time to use, I find it comfortable and user friendly. I am not a Pro but I used some compact camera before and I said "Wow"! This is what I want.
Here, I will share some photos I shoot using this incredible compact "point and shoot camera."
Exposure Mode: Programmed Auto
Aperture: F/4.5, Shutter speed: 1/1250s, Metering: Matrix, ISO Sensitivity: ISO 160

St. Andrews Church. The Church of Scotland here in Gibraltar.
Exposure:
Aperture: F/3, Shutter speed: 1/250s, Metering: Matrix, ISO Sensitivity: ISO 160
Internal view of The Gibraltar Church
Exposure:
Aperture: F/2.8, Shutter speed: 1/15s, Metering: Matrix, ISO Sensitivity: ISO 400
Here, I proved this is great compact camera in low light. Because, the time I shot this photo there is no other light except the light from the window and from the altar. I did not even use its built in flash. Compare to other photos taken by my Digital Single Lens Reflex camera with high ISO. Nikon CoolPix 300P result is better. Although, in cropping up I find some noise on it.
The following photos you are about to see is taken by Nikon CoolPix 300P SCENE Auto Selector:
Scene Mode: Easy Panorama
This is its 180th degree Panorama of Gibraltar Island but, if you want its 360th degree you can have it also with this cool point and shoot camera.
Aperture: F/2, Shutter speed: 1/250s, Metering: Matrix, ISO Sensitivity: ISO 1100
Scene Mode: Sunset
Aperture: F/5.5, Shutter speed: 1/500s, Metering: Matrix, ISO Sensitivity: ISO 160
Scene Mode: Dusk / Dawn
Aperture: F/2.8, Shutter speed: 1/30s, Metering: Matrix, ISO Sensitivity: ISO 200
Scene Mode: Dusk / Dawn with cross screen effect
Scene Mode: Portrait
Aperture: F/4.9, Shutter speed: 1/6s, Metering: Matrix, ISO Sensitivity: ISO 800
I would like to give thanks to my crew mate for permitting me to post his picture in this blog.
Scene Mode: Landscape
Aperture: F/5.5, Shutter speed: 1/800s, Metering: Center weighted, ISO Sensitivity: ISO 160
Scene Mode: Close-up
Aperture: F/2.8, Shutter speed: 1/15s, Metering: Matrix, ISO Sensitivity: ISO 400
Scene Mode: Close-up with cross screen effect
There are more scene mode left but I don't have yet some sample photos to show.
Here they are: Sports, night portrait, party/indoor, beach, snow, food, museum, fireworks show, black and white copy and pet portrait.
Nikon CoolPix 300P has also special effects like soft, nostalgic sepia, high-contrast monochrome, high key and low key.
Here a sample photo I shot of its special effects.
Scene Mode: High Contrast Monochrome
Aperture: F/5.6, Shutter speed: 1/250s, Metering: Matrix, ISO Sensitivity: ISO 160
Scene Mode: Nostalgic sepia
Aperture: F/5, Shutter speed: 1/250s, Metering: Matrix, ISO Sensitivity: ISO 160
Supplied Accessories:
Strap, rechargable Li-ion battery EN-EL 12, charging AC adapter EH-69P, USB cable, software CD-ROM, quick start guide, user's manual and warranty.
I hope I can post more sample photos of the remaining scene mode in the future.

Celebrity Eclipse
Cruise Ship Celebrity Eclipse 2nd visit in Gibraltar
Celebrity Eclipse at anchor in Gibraltar bay
Last 23rd of May 2011 I made a shot of Celebrity Eclipse on her first visit here in Gibraltar. That time she able to alongside in the commercial berth on the north mole, and easy for the passengers to go ashore and see the beautiful site of the city. Since, the explosion of one of the slop tank in the port. The arriving cruise liner is not permitted to come alongside. Instead, to let go the anchor and by the tendering boat the tourist were able to go ashore as part of the cruise itinerary.
My last photo post of Cruise ship Ocean Princess as you observed she is also in anchorage area. Well, for safety purpose that's better what Gibraltar port is doing. Hope, they can repair the damaged tank so that everything will be back to normal. Peace!
